If you are tired of the media covering news from your state from someone elses perspective and finally want to get it right, this is your chance.

The Assam Chronicle is looking for news correspondents from around the northeastern states. It doesn’t matter which state your are based in. We want you to write news for us.

We expect our news reporters to write minimum of one news story per day and there’s no maximum number.

You do not need to have previous experience as a journalist or a news reporter, but we do expect you to be able to come up with well-written news stories and you do need to be fluent in English language.
