Pak still behind on way forward with India: Editorial PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 08 April 2008

Islamabad, Apr.8 (ANI): Pakistan is still behind on new thinking on its relations with India, despite the radical initiatives taken by President Musharraf, claims an editorial in the Daily Times.

According to the editorial, with both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari proposing and supporting initiatives for improving ties between Islamabad and New Delhi, there is still a view in certain quarters that Pakistan needs to take big strides away from its dangerous revisionist past.

The economic and political dividends from a new relationship with India are palpable and can no longer be ignored, the editorial concludes. (ANI)
