Union Home Secretary reviews security situation in Assam |

New Delhi, Apr 10 (ANI): Union Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta today reviewed the security situation in Assam and the follow up action taken on the visit of Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar to the State in February this year.
The Chief Secretary and DGP of Assam, and other senior officers attended the meeting.
The meeting took stock of the implementation of the Suspension of Operations (SoO) arrangements with various groups, particularly NDFB.
Security of some infrastructure projects, including the railway gauge conversion (Lumding-Badarpur) project and NHAI's East West Corridor Project in NC Hills of Assam were discussed. (ANI) |
