PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto 'more influential' than even Bush Print E-mail
Tuesday, 15 April 2008

New York, Apr 15 (ANI): The 19-year-old Bhutto-Zardari scion and son of former Pakistan premier Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is known to be placed at the 20th slot in the list of top influential people in the world prepared by the Time magazine.

He is placed even ahead of US President George Bush.

Bilawal, the PPP Chairman, has reportedly bagged 7875 votes in the survey conducted by the Time magazine among its readers, who were asked to vote for leaders, artists, entrepreneurs and thinkers who shape the world and deserve a spot on its annual list.

Besides Bush, Bilawal is also ahead of US presidential hopefuls Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain.

The magazine lists Bilawal's positives as "announcing his intention to finish school at Christ Church before entering politics" and the fact that he "has practically admitted his appointment in the wake of his mother's assassination was largely symbolic".

There are currently 207 finalists and the list will be published in the magazine's next issue, reported The News.

The list also features Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, Army chief Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud. (ANI)
