Sharif says resolution on judges' restoration issue will be tabled on May 12 Print E-mail

Lahore, May 2 (ANI): Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that the resolution in connection with judges restoration will be presented in the Parliament on May 12.

"The deposed judges will be restored on May 12 through a resolution to November 2 position," The News quoted Sharif, as saying.

He said that a five-member committee comprising Aitezaz Ahsan, Khawaja Haris, Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim, Hafeez Pirzada and Mian Raza Rabbani would give final shape to the draft resolution in this regard.

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has conveyed Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari that he would allow the reinstatement of the deposed judges, according to sources.

According to the Geo News, Musharraf has conveyed the message in this regard to Zardari.
