Washington, May 07 (ANI): It seems that American singer John Mayer is doing little to put off rumours that he is dating actress Jennifer Aniston.
Mayer was photographed frolicking with the former Friends actress on a beach in Miami, Florida last week, fuelling speculation that the pair is together, reports Usmagazine.com.
When questioned about his budding love at New York's Costume Institute Gala on Wednesday, Mayer said: "Listen, this is not a scandal, this is not an issue, this is not a problem, this needs no spin control."
"This is me living my life," he added.
The singer also indirectly gave the thumbs up to the snaps by not blaming the photographer.
He said the photographer who took the shots of them sun bathing in Miami recently had "a really powerful lens, and I don't fault him, I don't fault anybody, I don't fault you, I don't fault this or that."
He added: "There are much worse problems in the world. Everything's cool!"
Their relationship became interesting when Mayer had fresh flowers delivered to the Mandarin Oriental Miami hotel room he shared with 39-year-old Aniston, almost everyday for five days in late April, a source revealed.
"She just always seemed like a lot of fun to him," the source said. (ANI)
