Gujjar leader sets a Rs.5 crore bounty on Rajasthan CM Raje's head
Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh), June 6 (ANI): Stirred by the Central Government's lack of concern to their plight and their demand for Scheduled Tribe status, the Gujjars today openly cursed the latter and put a Rs.5 crore price for anyone beheading Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
"When hundreds of people were killed, she should have been charged under Section 302, but the Central Government didn't take any action against her. It should have dismissed the State Government and arrested her. We have lost our faith in the Government, as it hasn't taken any steps. I had announced earlier, and I am announcing it again, that any person who beheads her, would be given a prize of Rs.5 crore from my community and me. Because the sort of torture that has been done this time, nobody should dare to do it again. And for this I am saying, that I am not afraid of being jailed, nor of being hanged or dying. The announcement of the Rs. 5 crore bounty is for sure. Whosoever beheads her would be given Rs 5 crore," said Chaudhary Virender Singh, the President of the Akhil Bharatiya Gujjar Mahasabha.
Chaudhry Virender Singh also stated that a national protest with a special force would be initiated to bring both the State and Central Governments to their knees.
"It's not that the Gujjars would get afraid. They have stopped the ration, and have put forces all around. They have tried hard to suppress our protest. But this time, this won't happen, because it's not only Rajasthan's Gujjars who are protesting, but Gujjars from across the nation. We won't back down till our last breath. Bainsla is our favourite leader among all Gujjars, and they have elected and accepted him as our leader. Whatever he discusses there, if a mutual understanding is achieved, the protest would be called off. If nothing is achieved, then we have a second option. We are going to start a 'Veer Gujjar Sena' soon in which we would enroll and train young men to fight. Be it women, Vasundhara, the BJP or the country, the Gujjars are ready to fight," said Chaudhary Virender Singh.
Gujjars have openly threatened the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The outcome of this latest development is to be seen. (ANI)
