Kochi, July 12 (ANI): The much-awaited grand finale of the 'Miss Kerala 2008' held in Kochi with the crowing ceremony of Shree Thulasi Mohan.

Shree, who is an interior designer by profession, was visibly excited and happy.

" I am in a state of blank right now," said Shree.

Rima Kallingal and Ann Joseph were crowned as the first and second runners up of the event.

The grand finale of the beauty pageant brought around 22 Malayali beauties from in and around the country.

The 22 contestants were judged in four rounds, comprising a Saree round, a western casual round, a gown round and traditional Kerala attire round.

The highlight of the beauty contest is that the winners would be provided with scholarships to carry out further studies.

The Event was organised by Impressario Event Management Group and sponsored by Vivel with Radio Mango as the major partner.

This event is focusing to find out the best talented girl through various stages of competitions. Every beauty contestants will be closely monitored by expert panel of juries, including beauty, talent and finally the crown goes to the best person.

Miss Kerala Foundation established in the year 1999 with the first Miss Kerala pageant. The foundation constantly extended its services to society. From the beginning itself, it has donated a major part of its funds to the charity work and especially for childcare. (ANI)
